Lyme Hall
A mansion about 2.5 miles west of Whaley Bridge. It belongs tot he National Trust and stands in a great park which is entered at Disley. Public Transport is available in the summer months to carry pedestrians along the mile long drive to the hall. Lyme Hall appeared as "Pemberley" in the BBC's recent adaptation of the Jane Austen novel " Pride and Prejudice"


Quarry Bank Mill
